Sailfest 250:
Plein Air with Clelia Cardano Sheppard
Celebrate Sailfest 250 through the eyes of local artists. Join oil painter Clelia Cardano Sheppard and fellow plein air painters as they capture the beauty of this special commemorative event, when tall ships come into the Cape Charles harbor. Artists will spend the morning painting outdoors throughout town. The freshly created works will then be exhibited and available for purchase at Lemon Tree Gallery that afternoon. To participate as an artist, contact Clelia at 757-651-1000. There is no fee to participate or attend.

Disney's Newsies Jr.:
Stars on Stage Musical Theatre Camp
Newsie's Jr. is a timeless story full of spirit and heart, inspired by the rousing true story of newsboys in turn-of-the-century New York City. Each summer, director Megan Cartwright leads young performers ages 8 and up in a fun and supportive musical theatre experience at the Historic Palace Theatre. Over two weeks, students rehearse, learn choreography, and work together to bring a full stage production to life.

Almost every Friday night at Lemon Tree Gallery, Arts Enter presents free live music from 6–8 p.m. Enjoy performances by talented local musicians while sipping your favorite beverage from our cash bar and exploring artwork by over 100 artists. Film Screening of Piece of Eden
Join us for a free screening of Piece of Eden: 1618-1776, a historical musical drama bringing Eastern Shore history to life. Presented on stage at the Historic Palace Theatre this Spring, this original production featuring over 50 cast members told stories of the Indigenous, European, and African people who shaped the Shore long before the birth of the United States. To celebrate our nation's birthday, join us for this special screening.
